Kawai Piano Financing FAQ

How do I apply for financing?

Most customers choose to apply for financing in-store, at the time of purchase. We’ll sit down and walk you through the application. The process typically takes around an hour from start to approval.

Reach out to let us know you’re interested in financing your Kawai piano, and we’ll answer any questions related to the process.

Online pre-approval isn’t offered by Synchrony Bank at this time.

How easy is it to be approved for financing?

Both financing options are available to anyone who is approved by our financing partner, Synchrony Bank.

As usual, this includes having a steady income and a good credit score. We will work with you to find the best financing solution for your situation!

Will a down payment be required?

Effectively no. The 0% for 24mo financing option doesn’t require a down payment; the 0% for 36mo (equal payments) and 6.99% low-interest plans both require a 10% down payment on purchases over $50k.

Given all our remaining new Kawai pianos are priced under $50k—and we cannot order pianos as part of this promotion—essentially no down payment is required (although this is ultimately up to Synchrony Bank and subject to the terms of your approval).

What types of pianos can I finance?

To qualify for the Kawai piano financing special, you have to purchase a new Kawai acoustic, digital or hybrid piano.

New pianos of other brands will not qualify nor will any refurbished Kawai pianos we may have in our showrooms.

That said, market-rate financing is available on any piano priced above $1,000 year-round. Ask us for details and to get approved today.

Can I pay off my financing early?

Yes, you can pay off your financing early without any penalties. At any time, you can choose to pay more than the agreed upon minimum.

Note that payments are made directly to our financing partner, Synchrony Bank. Contact them for details on settling your loan early.

Are there any other fees associated with the financing specials?

No, there aren’t any hidden fees associated with our financing specials.

As will be explained when you signup:

  • The low interest offer charges a 6.99% APR.
  • If you don’t pay off the no interest offer within 24 months, a 22.99% APR charge will accrue for the rest of the term.
  • If you miss a payment, late payment fees will incur.

We believe in transparent pricing. The monthly payment you agree to is the amount you’ll pay throughout the financing period directly to Synchrony Bank. All the details will be provided upfront so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
